Programs
Donors can earmark contributions specifically for a
particular program.
Vocational
The Green Thumb Project is a program that operates a greenhouse/nursery and a florist
shop where plants and flowers are grown, maintained, and arranged for wholesale/retail.
This program will require the establishment of a greenhouse on the Autism Center
property. The greenhouses that ACN is interested in start in the $5,000 range.
Early Intervention
The Autism Center of Nebraska strives to be a top provider for children diagnosed
with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Pervasive Developmental Delay. In order for ACN
to service this population, ACN needs to provide additional training for Early Intervention
staff. Training would include programs in ABA, Discreet trial, effective reinforcement,
behavioral management, and American Sign Language.
