ACN Strength Through Diversity Initiative

At ACN, we offer opportunities to make a difference, while growing in personal skills and career development. Currently, we are looking for talented, creative individuals to join the ACN family as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). DSPs work closely with one or a small group of individuals, teaching, exploring, and enjoying life together.

With a variety of shifts, we know we can accommodate your busy schedule, providing you with engaging work that can fit around your school or family schedule. Full time and part time positions are available, with excellent full-time benefits available at 30 hours per week. All employees accrue paid Earned Time Off and Sick Leave with each hour worked.

Strength Through Diversity

The “Strength Through Diversity” initiative is an ongoing series of internal processes aimed at creating a maximally inclusive environment and reflecting the organization’s long-held values. We have engaged the services of Dr. Cheryl Ingram, whose agencies, Inclusology and Diverse City, provided an organizational assessment process, an assessment analysis, and a capstone interactive educational experience in 2022. This series of experiences has laid the groundwork for the process of building a greater culture of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility within our organization ー and throughout the community of individuals and families served by our agency. ACN leadership meets regularly about this initiative and continues to work with partners to continue to create opportunities for learning, expression, and cultural exchange in service of a stronger orgranization and a stronger community.
